I should say 'day to different night'. The plan was to wear the jeans during the day and change that night for the movies. On this particular night Mr. Manfriend and I decided to stay in, so I wore a similar outfit two days in a row. My rule is that if you don't see the same people it is all good (or sometimes even if you do... ) I have a feeling you are going to be seeing much more of this blazer.

Easter

Earrings: Walmart
Necklace: Von Maur
Shrug: Plato's Closet- Forever 21
Dress: Maurices (2007)
Belt: Forever 21
Shoes: Von Maur- Anne Klein (find them here)
I have had this dress since 2007. I am excited that I still fit into something I had in 2007, some things just never go out of style. (Or they do but then come back in style later and I am kind of a hoarder) Regardless, I think this dress is timeless and wish I had it in every color.

Good Friday

Jacket: Thrifted
Shirt: Old Navy
Necklace: Thrifted
Jeans: JcPenny
Shoes: Target
The jacket had fringe along the sides when I found it, I have yet to master sewing but I can rip seams. This was my first attempt at nail art, I tried the nail pen and it was an epic fail, but the brushes had much better results. I have yet to decide how I feel about the color jean craze (i.e. I own 2 pairs and not 10) but I find that I wear these red ones constantly.

We stopped for lunch in Port Washington.

Today was our last day at the beautiful Scofield House Bed & Breakfast which obviously required a photo shoot before our trek home. And yes that is a sock bun, making my hair look much longer (until the wind got a hold of it that is)  thanks for asking. :) Here is the tutorial I used.

Yes, I realize that I titled this a High School Musical song. Judge away. :) I have been pondering starting a blog for this past year. Its Spring Break here in Central Illinois, and I decided it was time to stop procrastinating. This blog is going to mostly feature fashion, with some art and culinary projects thrown into the mix. Starting with what I wore today for Mr. Manfriend (my husband AJ) and my mini-vacation to Door County, Wisconsin. (A bigger post on that to come.) It was a cool 40 degrees here so I layered it up. Current Goal: to post a minimum of three outfits per week. It's good to have goals right?
